Here's what usually happens with a dripping tap in Bali: a handyman replaces the tap but reuses the ten-year-old flexible hoses and corroded angle valve behind it, because they're 'still working'. Six months later one of those flexes bursts — and a burst flex doesn't drip, it floods, often while nobody's home. When we replace a tap, the flexes and the angle valve are part of the job. They cost a fraction of what one flooded bedroom floor costs.
Sink & Tap Services We Provide
Tap & Mixer Replacement
Basin taps, kitchen mixers, wall-mounted taps and shower mixers. Bali's mineral-heavy well water destroys chrome cartridges in a few years — when a mixer drips or stiffens, replacement usually beats hunting for cartridge spares. New flexes and angle valves included.
Bathroom Basin & Vanity
Ceramic vanity basins, countertop vessels and full vanity units. We handle the water connections, waste fitting, trap alignment and silicone sealing — and check the existing drainage actually has fall before mounting anything.
Kitchen Sinks
Single and double-bowl kitchen sinks, undermount and drop-in. Includes waste kits, grease-resistant trap setup and dishwasher/filter tap tee-offs if you need them.
Stone & Designer Basins
Bali's carved stone basins are beautiful and heavy, and most come with no fitting hardware at all. We source the right waste fittings, support the weight properly and seal natural stone so water marks don't stain it.
Why Taps Die So Fast in Bali
A chrome mixer that lasts fifteen years in Europe often needs replacing within four to six here, and it's not bad luck. Well water across south Bali carries dissolved calcium and silica that scale up ceramic cartridges until they grind and seize. Near the coast — Canggu, Seminyak, Sanur, Jimbaran — salt air attacks chrome plating from the outside at the same time.
What actually helps: brushed brass, gunmetal and powder-coated finishes survive coastal air noticeably better than polished chrome. An inline sediment filter ahead of the bathroom feed extends cartridge life by years and costs little. And buying mid-range Indonesian-stocked brands beats luxury imports for one practical reason — when a cartridge does wear out, the spare exists in Denpasar instead of needing a month of shipping from Europe.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does tap replacement cost in Bali?
Labour is IDR 150,000–300,000 including new flexible hoses if needed. Mid-range mixers cost IDR 300,000–900,000; designer and imported brands more.
My tap drips — repair or replace?
If it's a cartridge mixer over 3–4 years old in Bali water, replacement is usually more economical than sourcing a cartridge. For newer quality taps we can often fit just the cartridge.
Can you install a stone basin I bought at a craft market?
Yes — that's common here. Stone basins rarely come with waste hardware, so we supply the correct fittings, mount with proper support and seal the stone.
Do you replace the small valves under the sink too?
Yes, and we recommend it with every tap swap. Old angle valves and flexes are the most common flood source in Bali villas.
