New modern white toilet installed in a Bali villa bathroom

The most common toilet mistake in Bali isn't the installation — it's the purchase. A villa owner sees a wall-display toilet in a Denpasar showroom, buys it, and only on installation day discovers the outlet sits 30cm from the wall while their bathroom's soil pipe is set at 25cm. Moving a soil pipe means breaking the floor. We prevent this with one WhatsApp message: a photo of your current toilet and a tape measure against the wall. Thirty seconds of measuring saves millions of rupiah in unnecessary floor work.

Toilet Services We Provide

Standard Toilet Replacement

Like-for-like swap of a floor-mounted or one-piece toilet. Removal, new sealing flange or wax ring, secure mounting, water connection with a new quality inlet valve and flexible hose, silicone finishing. Typically 1.5–3 hours.

Wall-Hung & Concealed Cistern

Wall-hung toilets with in-wall frames and concealed cisterns. We install new frames during renovations and service existing concealed units — access panel diagnosis, flush plate mechanisms, inlet valve replacement inside the wall cavity.

Running & Leaking Toilet Repair

A constantly running toilet quietly wastes thousands of litres of well water and burns out your pump faster. Usually a 30–60 minute fix: new flapper, flush valve or inlet valve. We carry common internals for Indonesian and imported cisterns.

Bidet Sprayer Installation

The jet washer next to the toilet — standard in Indonesia, missed by everyone who doesn't have one. We add a T-valve and quality sprayer set to any toilet, with a proper shut-off so a worn sprayer head never floods the bathroom.

What to Check Before Buying a Toilet in Bali

Three things decide whether a toilet will fit your bathroom — check them before paying, not after. First, the rough-in distance: from the finished wall to the centre of the soil pipe. Indonesian-standard installations are commonly 25 or 30cm; many imported European models expect 30.5cm (12 inch). A mismatch means either an offset adapter (workable, slightly raises the toilet) or floor work (expensive).

Second, the trap type: most Bali bathrooms use a floor outlet (S-trap). Toilets designed for wall outlet (P-trap) physically cannot connect to a floor outlet without major modification. Showrooms in Bali sell both — the box doesn't always make it obvious.

Third, septic compatibility: most villas here run on septic tanks, not mains sewerage. Modern dual-flush toilets work fine, but the cheapest single-flush imports can use more water per flush than your septic system was sized for. If your tank gets pumped more often than yearly, mention it — we'll recommend accordingly.

How It Works

  1. Send a photo + one measurement

Your current toilet from the side, plus wall-to-bolt distance. We confirm what fits.

  2. Choose the unit

We quote supply options from Bali stock (INA, TOTO, American Standard) or check the model you want to buy yourself.

  3. Installation visit

Old toilet out, new one in — sealing, mounting, water connection and silicone done properly. 1.5–3 hours.

  4. Disposal & guarantee

We take the old unit away and the work carries our 30-day guarantee.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does toilet replacement cost in Bali?

Labour is IDR 400,000–700,000 including removal and disposal. The toilet itself runs from IDR 1.5 million for a solid local brand to IDR 6+ million for TOTO or American Standard premium lines.

Can you supply the toilet or do I buy it myself?

Either. We source from Bali suppliers and include it in the quote, or install a unit you've purchased — just send us the model details first so we can confirm it fits your rough-in.

How do I know if a toilet will fit my bathroom?

Measure from the finished wall to the centre of the floor bolts (or outlet). Send us that number with a photo — we'll tell you which models fit without floor work.

How long does the job take?

A straightforward swap is 1.5–3 hours. Wall-hung installations or jobs needing an offset adapter take longer — we tell you in the quote.
