Bathroom Drains
Hair, soap scum and shampoo residue create a progressive blockage in shower and bath drains. In Bali villas with multiple occupants or short-stay rental guests, bathroom drains can block in 3–4 months. We clear the trap and clean the pipe section behind it — not just the visible trap opening.
Outdoor & Garden Drains

When to Call Instead of Using Chemical Cleaner
Chemical drain cleaners (brands like Mr Muscle or Drano) work on fresh hair and light grease blockages. They're worth trying as a first step if the drain slowed recently. But there are situations where chemicals make things worse:
Old PVC traps: repeated chemical exposure degrades older PVC, causing cracks that become slow leaks under the cabinet or floor. If the same drain has been chemically treated multiple times, the trap itself may need replacement.
Grease plugs: chemicals eat the surface of a solid grease plug slowly. They don't dissolve it — the plug just narrows. Physical rodding shifts the whole plug.
Root intrusion: chemicals have zero effect on root intrusion. Roots need to be mechanically cut and removed. Pouring drain cleaner on a root blockage just wastes product and time.
Multiple drains slow simultaneously: this indicates a blockage in the shared main line downstream of where the individual drains join. Chemical cleaner in one drain doesn't reach the blockage point.
